Fairings..what did you use?

After getting inspired to make my own roof rack I found I needed a fairing..so I baught one hat was long enough for the kk.

Now, 3-4 months later, I've noticed that any speed over 65mph it make a vibrating noise as if a small current of air was getting under he bottom and causing it to flex. I usually just open the sun roof and it stops,but I'm curious if there is a more perminant fix.

Has any one made a fairing?

Has any one had a similar issue?

If you can find a big enough road sign you can cut it to your desired size and paint it. Lets see a pic of your roof rack.

Don't mind the skulls! Theyre a left over from halloween and I kind of like them haha

Take the fairing off and i think your noise will gone. I'm sure the skulls aren't helping anything either :shock:

haha ended up taking the skulls off yesterday. I drove to NJ and forgot about them..my wife ended up asking why every one was staring at us while we drove..then i remembered :SOMBRERO:

The noise from the roof rack was obnoxious before the fairing..at least the wing cuts that noise back..and makes one of its own. :banghead:

Fairings..what did you use?
