I really appreciate the offer Arturs, but i already have my steel in hand and shipping from CA to NJ and back wouldn't be worth it. Did some more cutting today, i need ear plugs :dizzy:

Made some more progress. Got some pieces welded together on the backside. Tomorrow i will fit it up and figure out the mounts, turn signals and rad skid.

Looks great so far. What gauge steel are you using? Also I really love the fab you made. Its really low profile and looks like it would really improve your approach angle.

Thanks MK. Its 5/32 plate for the skin and 1/4" x 2" angle for the mounts.

How are you going to mount it to the KK?

The third pic down shows the 2" angle, the holes match the tow hook holes on the frame. I'm going to make a plate that slides into the frame holes w nuts welded to them. I'm doing an extra bolt per side too. I might have 2 more that tie into the crossmember too.

Whats the height from the bottom of your steel bumper to the top? I want to compare it to the stock bumper.

Post subject:  Re: KK STEEL BUMPER

The face is 6". You can't really compare to the stocker though because the plastic bumper slopes downward from the grill. Mines tucks under the grill and sits flat.
