Hi Guys, I've been reading your posts on Lost for quite some time now for inspiration. I have some posts on our forum here in Australia (Ausjeepoffroad) and I thought I'd finally post some info on my Jeep on your forums, as I've been very busy modding her over the last 2 years. My jeep remained stock standard, until my first mod - installing a UHF Radio. At that stage, I made a bracket that fitted to the bonnet hinge, and hid the Unit under the steering column with a plug for the hand piece in the centre dash panel. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I made a roof console. It's constructed out of ply, and I had it professionaly upholstered. It has a DVD Player with Digital TV, External Speaker for the UHF, 3 Switches & Factory Light (with the climate control sensor) ![]() ![]() Next, came the TJM Alloy front Bar, Which Installed myself. Took 2 days to do, and now has a winch, Roo Lights, and I moved the UHF Antenna onto it. ![]() ![]() ![]() It's been lifted 2.5 Inch's with a CRDSTU lift kit Before ![]() After ![]() I made a switch mount for the the dash bezel, made out of pressed metal. It has 5 switches, and the UHF Hadset bracket. ![]() ![]() ![]() I've made a custom mount for an ARB Compressor in the engine bay, made out of gal sheet painted black. ![]() ![]() The last thing I have just completed, was making a set of custom roof rails to mount an ARB Roof Cage to. ![]() ![]() There are numerous other little mods that could make this post go on for quite a while (extra speakers, Sub, LED Interior Lighting, Power Outlets, Invertor, Lockpick) so I'll hold off on that stuff for now. Very nice. I like the switch bank. My Dad and I were thinking about doing something similar to that actually, but I decided against it because I actually use that space for my sunglasses lol. |

If I remember from a few years back, that bumper is made in the "Down Under" and would cost an arm and a leg to get it shipped to the U.S. |

As it has already been said, that bumper was made by TJM. Now the bad news. That "bar" was originally made to fit a KJ. About 18 months ago (give or take) TJM cut production due to low demand. At the time btalyor218 got his bar, I think there were only 30 or less bars at dealers in AUS. So at this point, you most likely have better chances winning the lotto than getting a bar..... |

Thankyou for all of your comments! Modding the car has become an addiction.... Diggerfreek is very correct - The TJM Bar is no longer produced. Some peckerhead reversed into mine about 4 months ago, (very little damage, but damage none the less) and it had to be repaired because there was no other ones available to replace it. The other guy's insurance company was spewing, because it took 3 weeks to repair, and I had a hire car for the whole time! |

Musclezmarinara, as Digger said, they cut production over a year ago and even at the time they were rare. Now that they are out of production it's almost impossible to find one. |
