Ok I am wondering if any one with a Skyslider has tryed to reduce wind noise.

I thought maybe taking 2 inch or 3 inch wide Masking tape and taping the Gaps might help.
There is a Gap between the Rubber gasket and Cloth top.

If someone try this already please let me know it is helped at all?

I would do it my self, but the wife said no.
She makes the payments so I have no choice but the listen to her.

I leave Thursday for a 500 mile trip. if this works I am taken tape and when she says darn i wish we had, i can pull over and do it.

haha no i've never thought of doing that i done think thats the issue though the issue tends to be with the header, which is the rubber molding attached to the actual body of the jeep. thats why i think a wind deflector would work... which is exactly why i'm making one 8)

Rigg's Brothers, the convertible specialist I took my Jeep to, taped off the SkySlider when they tested it. They said it reduced the noise somewhat and believe that a deflector would further reduce the noise. I am still waiting on a response from them after they hear back from their vendors. I am also anxious to see Jeepin_it_real's deflector, because I may follow suit.

There was a guy selling deflectors on the web that he made from two deflectors. Below are the pictures that he sent me. I don't think he is making them anymore, though.

haha thats actually exactly what i'm doing... same wind deflector and everything haha.. except the mold between the two will be in the back so when i do a fiberglass mold it won't be raised

This project went cold or off line...

Not sure it will ever happen. Unless a factory picks it up...
