Anyone got ideas on how to make some roof rail's(not the cross bar's). Here's the kicker I don't have access to a welder so I'm trying to figure out how to make them without that. Any idea's?

Look at schedule 40 black pipe at home improvement centers. Find the diameter you're happy with. You can buy 45* fittings that are meant to be welded on online. They are not external screw on type fittings, they are meant to be welded on and they do look good. Find some flat stock for the mounts. Take off your factory side bars and figure out a mock up and dry fit it. Take all your cut pieces to a welding shop and pay them to weld it all together.

10' pipe and 2 nipples- $30
Flat 3/8 x 1" $10
45* weld on fittings (4) ~$25-$40 i'll find out where to get them if you need me to.

Around $80 for materials plus paying a welder.

Note: black iron pipe has a tar coating on it that needs to be cleaned off with solvent prior to welding/painting.

Thank you. Question when i get all done and ready to put on the jeep, there are studs coming out of the roof? If so the would i just use a nut to attach the rails to the stud? If yes the what nuts do I get?

Yep its just studs, 8 of them. Take a bolt gauge and figure out the thread pitch. A true value hardware store should be able to help you if you bring in your truck with the studs showing. I'd use nylock nuts and washers. Don't overtighten them.

Buy a set off a wreck? Or you could also click on this link from ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-11-2012-JEEP ... 966wt_1002

There are also other companies that make aftermarket side rails that you can google that cost less.
