Has anyone in this forum looked at this as an avenue for cheap stock replacement parts for our community? I ran across a few auctions of wrecked kks and the prices for the whole vehicle is normally like 2 grand... That's a lot of parts that are pretty cheap if we all purchased the rig together

I guess my question would be is this even allowed in this forum? And if it were is there even an interest in doing this?

Its sounds like a pretty good idea in theory but the forum population vs the number of people who actually own Libertys is pretty drastic. Also the demand for replacement parts is a as needed basis. Good idea but unless you wanna store a dead liberty in your backyard it may not be feasible

Wouldn't work. Everyone would squabble after the most expensive parts. And what if two or three people all need a part at the same time? What if one person only ever needs something small like a wiper motor? And Many of us are still under warranty for years to come.

Too many problems. A better idea would be for one member to buy a wreck and start a thread that lists what's available and sell part by part. They could even make a small profit.

Yeah its more of a pipe dream lol but if I manage to get one cheap you all will be the first to know
