bought the complete foglight kit which included new headlights a while back - unfortunately due to weather (denver) I didn't have a chance to even open the box until a month later - that's when I saw 2 tabs were busted on the driver's side headlight. Since a month went by, the seller won't help me out. I bit the bullet and ordered a new OEM driver's side headlight for $99 shipped and you guessed it - it arrived with another busted tab - I took a picture and emailed the seller - we'll see what happens. In the meantime, just for fun I ordered this for the first headlight...I don't know how strong it is but it seems to have worked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjpx6DknWZY |

But I chickened out cause I didn't wana get stuck with 2 broken headlights so I sent em back. Let us know how it works out. I'm gonna make sure the next time I order headlights I specifically state that I want "FRAGILE" stickers like everywhere on the box. However, I do have a friend who works at UPS as a loader and he told me when stuff comes off the belt it tends to get "tossed" onto the trucks even with a fragile sticker.

whenever I ship something like this that's really fragile I always always always double box it....putting more packing materials between the boxes...so even if FEDEX launches it over a fence it should be good. in the second case, I specifically told the shipper to pack it extra carefully...it was bubble wrapped, but only one time around....then was put into the OEM box and filled in with peanuts....NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! |

That's exactly how mine where shipped. I guess Mopar thinks their headlights are bullet proof and only need a thin wrap of bubble wrap around one side, not even both. Good tip with the double box idea.
