Post subject:  Check TPM System Help

Hey all, if anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have an 09 KK. I had new wheels, tires and pressure sensors put on it. After i got it back the TPMS light was on and it was reading no pressures for any of the tires. After hassling with discount tire they removed the sensors and placed the correct ones in. They used the wrong frequency at first.

Now the TPMS light is off and I have accurate pressures on all 4 tires but the EVIC says to "Check TPM System". All 4 tires are aired up to ~35 psi.

When I bought the car it had a full size spare without a sensor in it. It also has the TPMS that tells you the pressure of each individual tire.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing me to get that message? Discount is at a loss and I really don't want to have to take it to the dealer. I assume they would want to replace my new sensors with factory ones and then they will try and fix the problem :(

Shot in the dark, but i'd try disconnecting the battery for like 1/2 hour or so and see if it goes off.

*sigh* That was the first thing I did. Thanks for the suggestion though :(

Any other ideas?

Take it to an auto parts store and see if its throwing a code. That code would hopefully give more detailed info. Was dt unable to reuse the original samples? I think they should make this right if you didn't have this problem before.
