How much fluid goes in the MP1522 transfer case????

Today i changed the fluid in my transfer case- about 2 quarts came out. I stopped after about 3.25 quarts and it still wasn't spilling out of the fill hole! Everywhere says it takes approximately 3.8 pints (1.9 quarts) to fill. I stopped because i didn't want to blow any seals or anything. Mp1522 command trac. Truck was level. I'm kinda worried about this, tell me what you guys think.

put about 1.75 quarts in my t case, dextron synth atf

6/27/2023: I emptied almost 2 qts out of the 2011 Jeep Liberty’s MP1522 transfer case at around 89k miles – likely the original amount filled was 2 qt.
So, for a refill use 2 Qts, no NOT fill until the fill port is overflowing.

How much fluid goes in the MP1522 transfer case????
