I know the tire size question gets asked alot here, and I hate to be the guy who keeps bringing this up, but I haven't found the answer to this question yet. In the future, probably 2 years, I'll be getting a JBA lift. I know hes got some parts for a 6" lift on his website, but not the complete set. So I think his in the process of designing one. Anyways, what is the biggest tire we can fit with either a 4" or a theoretical 6" lift? Anybody who has a 4" what are you running? And any body with a 6" KJ's included what do you run? I'm just trying to plan ahead for my future mods.

Are you planning on regearing? Anything above 245/75/16 will require 4.10s in order to have some power. The larger the tire the worse the problem with the stock gearing

I'm willing to do whatever it takes that doesnt radically alter the prettyness so to say. I guess i still want it to look like a liberty when im done.

I would say at the least a 33" with the proper rim

and with 33s you'll need lower gears than 4.10s

Coming from someone with a 4" lift and 265/75/16, unless you want to deal with a lot of headaches don't go over a 2.5" lift and 245/75/16. As soon as my tires wear I will be downgrading. I don't think it flexes any better because of the additional bump stops and and tires limiting travel.

I'm willing to re-gear.

Dirty, what sort of problems are you getting? I was really hoping to get 33"s under it or at least full 31"s or 32"s. I don't want to sacrifice turn radius or flex though.
I know the KK's 4x4 system is more than capable of keeping up with the wranglers, I'm really limited by tire size.
