So yesterday I hopped into my KK after work, when I turned on the AC it ran hot. I connected a gauge to the lo port of my AC and the PSI was in the danger zone. It runs but it won't run cold and my mechanic buddy is out of state on vacation. Any ideas? Has any one had this happen to them? |

Did the AC condenser pulley go bad? |

You need a gauge set to check high and low side pressures to effectively troubleshoot. Chances are your system is just low on coolant and needs a recharge and to check for leaks. |

But i did charge it and nothing happened. It stayed hot. As for the pulley, all mechanical components looked good for my several visual inspections. |
