Noticed that I bent the LCA bracket on the drivers side. Looks like I hit a rock pretty good. How concerned should I be? I tried hitting it back into place with a BFH but I couldn't get it to move much with the LCA still attached. It's hitting the metal sleeve around the bushing and compressing the bushing some. The sleeve took the brunt of it though. Can I get that LCA out of the way without taking everything apart? ![]()

If you cant get a prybar in there the way it sits looks like you're taking it apart. I'd try disconnecting the uca, shock clevis and sway bar then reconnect the uca loosely. Then put a floor jack under the lca to support and try to carefully rotate the lca downwards after the cam bolts are out. Put the bolt and nut back on before trying bend it back. Try using a prybar before a hammer too. Good luck. |
