I figured I would share how I finally put my old 99 in my Libby. I've heard of people putting them in the dash, in between the passenger seat and the center console and all kinds of craziness! However, I had to improvise on my install because I haven't seen a vid or thread about cb in a Liberty...so here's mine!
First I ran the cb's power wire through the rubber grommet found on the firewall on the driver's side into the footwell area, then behind the vertical center console over to the passenger footwell area. (Sorry no pics of this) I crimped eyelets on the ends of the cb power wire and hard wired it in (not the battery but the closest hot post in the black power center between the battery and the firewall).
Now mount your radio, I screwed the mount bracket onto the glove box but tilted toward me so I can see it better from the driver's seat.

And here's a pic of the magnet mount. Not the most practical height if you'll be doing any off roading but I want transmit/receive distance.

My mic hanging from the rearview can be seen here. I used a mic hook that can be found at your nearest truck stop.

I'm 8' 9" to the 360 ball of the whip!!! The good news is that the Wilson 5000 comes with a weather cap so when you unscrew the whip you can cap the base to keep water and debris out.
I can't duck under anything but this is my work vehicle. It's basically a pavement princess and doesn't see any off roading. With the 62" whip I'll be walking the dog and kicking the cat though!

I'm hearing people in Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas.

I talk to other drivers 6 miles away easily and can always open up the squelch to hear someone in the distance.
