Met up with renegade today for the first time and we went to discount tire direct and got my tires put on. It didn't rub as bad as I thought it was going to. Got about 17.5 highway on cruise at 70. Overall I'm pleased and I'm so so so so glad I went with 265's. I didn't want to have to spend the money on tires twice. Hope you guys like the pictures, will be more to come tomorrow.   Then of course I had to try them out. Rubbed a little as expected nothing a little fine tuning can't fix.

Regear to 4.10's and gain back alot of low end power and a few mpg's on the highway.Throw in 4.56's with those tires and you'll have a grin ear to ear. |

They look fantastic. I'm glad you posted this thread. Made up my mind what I'm gonna do with tire size after mine need replacing. Any plans on regearing? |

The tires look great, but what kind of mileage on the highway did you get before? I get 21-22 ('10 Renegade), I'd hate to drop to 17-18. And are you telling us what your computer says the mpg's are? This would be off because of the new tires, correct? |

The dealer told me that gears, tires, lift etc won't void the warranty. Except for the parts that you put on of course. They won't cover those unless they put them on. |

 I honestly don't know how you guys are getting such good mileage. I get 14 mpg now and I've never gotten higher that 16 mpg. So, 4.56 is the way to go huh? Will that mess up the shifting? Isn't that too low? Or will that just give it a buttload more power? What about top end? |

I also wonder what regearing would do for stock to slightly taller tires. Roast tires look awesome, nice a aggressive. |

I do want to regear and put lockers eventually. And by eventually I mean when I can afford it. To be honest I think the 265's look amazing and I have had nothing but compliments about them. On the other hand i get about 14 or 15 mpg city and 17 or 18 on the highway. I was getting about 18 city and 22 highway prior. Me personally I couldn't justify buying a set of tires darn near the same size. That's why I went with 265. |

That's all the faster I drove so I don't know if the gap increases with the higher speed |

I called my dealer today and asked about the warranty. From what he explained to me, if you change a part on you're jeep with aftermarket parts and it fails then they won't obviously replace that part. Also if that part causes other parts or components to fail or break those will not be covered either. But say you're seat belt breaks or you're shifter that has nothing to do with anything breaks it will be replaced. It was just the piece of mind I needed to be able to take my jeep to the dealership. |
