I went down to jeep and they told me 150 if they could even do it at all. I laughed and walked out. Gm did it for me in the past for free with other vehicles but that's another story. Anyone know where else this can be done?

You need a Starscan and for what they cost $150 is pretty reasonable.

Is that dodge Chrysler jeep specific or is that Firestone or someone else would have?

It's the Chrysler factory scan tool. You can buy but about $4500 so finding a indepentant shop that has one will be pretty slim.

I remember reading somewhere that a Hypertech tuner can adjust the speedo. Here's a thread with some info on the Hypertech Tuner (though the one in the post was sold):

If you walk into the dealer just to have them calibrate the speedometer, thryre going to charge the shop rate. I had them do mine in conjunction with an oil change/scheduled service. The mechanic had to access the computer anyway, I just asked for him to recalibrate it while he was in there. Didn't cost a dime over what it would've cost for the service. :2cents:
