Yes, I know. There is a Tire forum already.... It's a total mess and a huge waste of time IMHO. It covers all Liberty models and all sorts of random questions. It really needs consolidated big time. That said, this topic is specific to the KK model only. My 2012 Latitude w/3k miles has 235/60-18s wearing Goodyear Fortera H/Ls. We want to swap out the tires with one's that have better wet road grip. I'm looking at Continental CrossContact LX20s. They area top rated tire on www.Tirerack.com Anyone have these ? Secondly, is it worth it to go to the next larger size on a KK ?? ie.... 245/60-18 TIA! |

More info will be needed to better point you in the right direction. Keep in mind if this will be street driven only, or if it will taken off road frequently. How concerned are you about gas mileage in regards to which tire you choose? Bigger is going to mean worse m.p.g.s in almost all cases. Post a picture if ya can of your Jeep! |

Sort of similar, I have 225/75/16 on my 09'. Not lifted and if ever lifted will just go with 2". I do not off road much but like trails but nothing serious. Any suggestions for larger tire size, the current ones just look so weak. Thanks!

I then ordered the RK 3.5 X-Factor lift which is on its way. Once installed, I am going to try the 265/70/17's. |

yes too big of a tire for a RK lift may work for a while driving straight but as soon as the springs sag a little more look out PLUS it'll be a dog on the road without regearing |

This is the best tire size calculator I've run across so far. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direc ... reMath.jsp If you're trying to find the biggest tires that'll fit, 245/75-16 is about it unless you're higher than 2 inches. It's also the largest diameter before you need th regear. I'm having a little trouble towing our pop up with 245/75-16. As soon as I'm able I plan to regear, probably 4.10 but I've been thinking about 4.56 lately. |
