Is there any company out there that makes better than oem quality springs. I already have a rock krawler and rear shocks if i want but i know that my springs are already going to want to sag. I know ome makes the best long springs, but is there any stock length springs out there that are worth it? |

If you're going to get new springs get rid of that rock krawler crap and get the OME springs ![]() |

I may eventually want to do that in the future. But when i can have a rk and buy 2 new monroe strut assembly for $100 its a bit easier on the wallet and fine with me if its a bit harder ride. I was just curious to know if anyone knew of any other company that just makes good springs or assemblies rather than going back to a oem style. I may not honestly do anything at all and just leave it like it is with the clevis level on it, but its nice to see what else is out there if i decide to do something |

It sounds like you already have longer shocks in the rear, so if you are planning on buying new springs why not just get OME and sell your RK lift? |

OME makes the 925s which are rated at 350 lbs, stock is 310 also 926s which are rated at 375 then of course the 927s at 400 lbs So you could go with the 925s keeping you at stock height all OME springs cost the same BUT the RK, junk it and do it right and the Monroe strut assembly's ![]() UPGRADE is what you do, not downgrade |

So the ome springs wont actually lift the jeep, just a better spring? Or the heavier weight the more ill get out of it? I was under the impression that ome springs would actually lift closer to 2.5 instead of the 1.5 they said. I knew the rk (or other spacers) weren't the greatest but wasnt sure if, with new springs if need be, would be worth the effort to put it on I just assumed rk 3.5 front lift 2 rear with new front springs if they sagged would give me more lift than the 1.5-2.5 full ome spring lift. Knowing that the rk wouldnt be the best ride in the world. Non of this is accounting shocks i know/have longer rear shocks and fronts are the same |

OME 927s in front for example give you more than 1.5 inches. That is the advertised height due to insurance issues in the land down under. They will actually give you about 2.5-2.75 inches ( 927s) Now the 925s/926s being weaker will not give as much lift of course |

Alright I probably won't even bother with the rk then. Ill just wait for the money for the ome and stuff. I plan on the rocklizard front middle section bumer and tiregate tire carrier anyways. That will still give me a good amout of lift and weight to put on it. Unless I find a lift for next to nothing ill just have to suck it up and wait lol. I'm just looking for some height. I dont need the 4k jba, the $700 ome will do what I want just fine and a lot more reasonable for me to spend |

I'd say just save a little more for the springs/shocks. If you plan on getting a bumper then definitely get the heavy duty 927 springs. |
