My Liberty is going to take on a new look as soon as the weather warms up.
Finally got my new side moldings. It took some doing and was expensive.

Yep, the vehicle known in the U.S. as the Jeep Liberty is still known at the Jeep Cherokee outside the U.S.

"WHY ON EARTH would you do that???"

Its a Jeep thing......you must not understand?

come on, we all spends lots of money on different mods for our Jeeps. Everybody has their own taste and as a result spends it on different things.

Personally, I am not interested in making interior lighting mods but others are. Nothing wrong with that.

I am not criticizing the fact you are relabeling your liberty.... as a matter of fact KUDOS to that!
and just FYI if you did the interior led light mod youd be very happy with the results!

As a devoted XJ owner, the only reason I bought my KK was because it was a return to the boxy styling Jeep is famous for. When the KK came out I said, "WOW that looks like a modern day XJ". Appearently, that was no coincidence since they were badged as Cherokees in Europe. While I like the KK; it rides better, drives better, and is more comfortable, it just doesn't feel like the rock solid truck the XJ is. And don't get me started on the torque of the 4.0 vs. the 3.7...... anyhow, If someone ever comes up with a cheap supplier in the US, I'm going to rebadge mine also.

the interior LED thing does sound cool. I wish someone would make LED taillights like I put on my Commander. They looked stock but were LED's.

I am guessing these moldings are made here in the US and then shipped overseas to supply the foriegn dealers with parts. Its a shame we can't buy them here because between the currency exchange rates and overseas shipping it gets very expensive to have them shipped back to the US.
