I've done some searching and it seems like it might be the alarm light??? Here's the situation. BEFORE it got lifted when driving on the highway that red dot lit up WITH the tire pressure light, too. This has happened on two different occasions. A third time, AFTER the OME lift, it happened when I was going 25 mph, but I don't recall the tire pressure light coming on with it this time. I have not been able to make this happen on command, but need to know if it's a safety issue. Thanks for any suggestions and/or answers. |

When I went skiing the other day, about an hour into driving this happened again. Didn't notice any change in performance. I'm guessing it's a bad sensor somewhere in one of the wheels. |

I think its the light for the security system. The common factor between the tire pressure light and that light is that both signals run through the wireless control module that sits on the side of the steering column. That module reads the TPM signals as well as remote start and sentry key signals. If there is anything wrong, it should set a code, but you can't read it with a normal OBDII scanner. You'll need either a dealer tool or another reader that you can send CAN commands with. If you have one, let me know and I can give you a quick rundown on how to scan the other modules for any codes. |

Thanks for the reply! All I have is a ScanGauge... Honestly, I wouldn't know if this KK even has a security system, because I've never set it off before. |

I guess it would also work if I hit the panic button. |

I don't have an alarm, but have the panic button that works. Just use the window method. |

I can't get the alarm to work... only the panic button works. |

Do you have a spare key? I think this red light comes on when the vehicle can't sense the RFID chip in the key |

I haven't had this problem happen in a while and I can't duplicate it. Maybe next time I go skiing it will illuminate again during the hour drive. I would be able to understand if it was just the tire pressure warning light, but why would it be a combination of both? |

If you have a ScanGauge with the X-Gauge feature, you should be able to use it to get codes from all the other modules on the CAN bus. You'll set the TXD to 0XXX1800FF00, where XXX is the address of the specific module you want codes from. I'm not sure what RX and MAT stuff should be set at, but I'll take a look to see how the system works. If I can figure it out, I'll let you know what the settings should be. |

Yes I have a ScanGauge2 that has the x-gauge feature. This will be able to help me out with my issue? You lost me there with all that information. |

I would be able to understand if it was just the tire pressure warning light, but why would it be a combination of both? It has nothing to do with the TPMS light. Purely coincidence |

Okay, thanks. Anything I should maybe take notice of if it ever happens again? |
