When I was looking at my KK...I always wish it has dual exhaust. However the spare tire is the reason preventing me to do it, so I came out with this solution. It's more for show than functional.
Image
I just attach the metal tail pipe with to the hitch to hold on to the exhaust tip. :frankie:
I got all the parts just didn't install it yet.
May be someone on LOST has solution for the dual exhaust.
If so, PLEASE tell me,I have been dying to get one...

What I want to know is how you get out of the KK in the picture once it's in that garage....

:jester: Well...This is a image I use photoshop to make. I just wanna see how it looks before I do all the work.
HINT: the both side of the garage has the same amount of stuff on the shelf. :ROTFL:

I will :banghead: if I have to park my KK like this

But if I really have to park like this...there is only one way out- the lift window in the back... :goink:

Looks cool. Just a suggestion, since I immediately thought of a Honda Pilot, they have dual exhaust, see if you can take a look under one of those.

I totally just thought you were super prepared with two of everything in the super narrow garage!

If ya Google "Honda Pilot dual exhaust" it'll pop right up. They have a similar set up with the spare tire. Anything is possible. Pretty sure I've seen pictures of KJs with dual exhaust before, but of course, not a KK yet.

It'd be pretty sweet if you could make it functional. Good luck!

Hmm, I like the look of it, but what's the point of not making it functional?

Go big or go home man :-)r

I am talking to one of the shop around my house and trying to make it come true...
It would be nice if I can keep my spare tire and dual exhaust...

This is how it has been done on a KA. It would work on a KK as well.
The marks on the spare are from weld slag. They did not drop the spare during the install.
I borrowed this Pic from another KA owner. I can link the thread if you like.

That's cool. I didn't think of the KA since they both have a similar structure. I will look deeper into this...
May be you link me the thread so I can show the shop...

Pretty cool! Scaro, would you mind posting the link? Wouldn't mind reading more. Curious what the exhaust is painted with.

The Hondas aren't true duals by any means. If it was me I would start at the headers use 2 sets of the smallest mufflers I can find. Then go out the back as cleanly as possible.

if you are going to do this PLEASE do it for REAL. don't make a fake dual exhaust just so it looks cool, it would be like also adding wheelie bars and drag parachute to the back of the jeep also because they would make the jeep look COOOOOOL!!! this is definitely a read my sig moment. "With enough fabbing, time & $, it's certainly possible.
That being said, it's like boinkin' your sister...just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

This is the link to the thread.
He ran out the right side stock single into a dual out muffler, then back with 2 pipes.
Not a "true" dual but looks good and sounds great.
A "True dual" would still require a cross-over between the two banks to keep things balanced and allow for the proper scavenging effect to keep things working as they should.
