Pretty sure it is. I remember this guy fitting a KJ TJM bumper to his KK a while back, he's in Australia. |

It's a stainless steel snorkel that's been powdercoated black. They also had to custom make a new airbox for it. It was done by a custom fabrication shop APT fabrications. Also pretty sure his rig is a petrol. http://www.aptfabrications.com.au/gallery

I think and under the fender would be a better solution ... If you ever want to remove it you'll have one gaping whole in the fender |

i been searching a lot and have two options for the fabrication 1. is to use a jk rugged ridge XHD top snorkel and get it in next to the wipers, plenty is space and easy go make a hole. http://www.ebay.com/itm/370857914485?ss ... 1438.l2649 2. you can get it in in the lower side if the fender right were the trail rated sign should go in the passengers side. probles is tat you have to fabricate an S to go around the door, if not it won't open. plus you need to reverse the airbox the get air from the back and not the front |

I don't know how that would look....but give it a try. 2. You don't need the s bend. I just mocked one up with it going into the antenna spot. Its a close fit but you can open the door and the hood with just a ~60º bend at the a pillar. I mocked one up with some 3 inch pvc on both my KJ and a buds KK. Looks good just need to get the holes drilled and pipe painted and cap on it. Sent from my Home Phone using Tapatalk |

I saw a write up in action mag about a modified KK had SFA, cant find it on the net... but it also had a snorkel and I quote "XJ snorkel with minor modifications" It looked great. Anyone looked into the XJ snorkel to see how it would fit / what would be required? |

You’d have to find one that geometrically works. The TJ has more space between the side door and the front fender— compare the TJ pic with the KK pic in the previous post. A snorkel on a KK would have to make a bend and enter the engine compartment above the fender instead of behind it. Also, it would need room to connect to the air box inside the engine compartment. Do you have a pic of a KJ snorkel for comparison? |

Do you have a pic of a KJ snorkel for comparison? I spent some time Sunday installing a Safari Snorkel on a KJ and upon initial inspection... I think it'll fit a kk. I am not confident enough to buy one just yet considering their price tag ($500) but the lines fit pretty well |
