was hunting yesterday and was going trough heavy sand for about a mile in 4hi, and go a water hole and my kk bogged down completely, car was on put i was pressing the gas on revolutions going up, switched to 4lo and nothing, turned he car off for about 30 seconds and started it again and then it came up right away, o wheel spin. i am thinking that maybe the water touched the hot motor and a sensor shoot the power off..... again, car was on it never died. jusr pressed the gas and no power water hole was about 2 feet deep. nose came up of the hole but not the back when i lost power. any clues....... hate those electronic throttles . |

searching a lot found a similar problem that the jk with the 3.6 has. the traction control needs to be turned off once getting in the water avoid the computer killing the gas after the cats get immersed in water or the back pressure is changed once the exhaust is completely under water.... no problem if in 4low need to try again. by the way, had no water on the intake and have extended breathers. |

Hmmm, thats a strange one. I have been crossing lakes and streams all week and haven't had an issue, then again it hasn't been a mile plus for me... Good luck finding the issue... |
