This maybe the wrong spot, but I want to give props to a vendor on here and jeepforum.com

At The Helm :congrats:

I bought a couple of items from Morgan and had them shipped here, because of shipping costs, he has the pieces cut and bundled. Everything is properly marked and ready.

I took my roof rack to a local weld fabrication shop to have them weld the cross bars for me, wanting a stronger fit than the provided screw option. Long story short, they screwed it up!! You can see below how they heated it up and welded the cross bars improperly, leaving it unable to fit.

I reached out in desperation to Morgan for tips on fixes and was overwhelmed with his "above and beyond" effort.
He called with tips, emailed picture examples of possible fixes, etc.

I will post a pic once my stuff gets back from the powder coat shop and installed, but wanted to give a big endorsement to At The Helm aka Morgan.

If you live in driving distance, you would be nuts to buy from anyone else.

rant over.

Agreed. Glad to have someone actively making quality aftermarket parts for our KK's in his free time. Haven't received anything from him yet, but I have ordered one of his bumpers and have been working with him on some slight modifications to it. He's answered all of my questions in a timely manner and has come up with good ideas. I'm hoping that one day he'll make a rear bumper/ tire carrier, can carrier, hi-lift carrier at a competitive price to Rock Lizard (I can dream). Even if he doesn't, I'm glad he's made all that he has. It's nice to have some competition in the aftermarket KK world.

That's why you have to tack weld them on the vehicle.
No way can you have it off and get it right
Even with it bolted on and then tacking it you have to be very careful.
That's why it took us extra time welding the Rock Lizard one to make sure it was right when done

This is obvious to everyone in the world besides Tulsa Metal Fab :banghead:

Regardless of the installers incompetence, At The Helm has earned a customer for his superior product and help "after" the sale.
