So I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty and I am going to start modding it. I am going to try to tint my lights and paint my grille flat black. What type of tint do I buy for the lights and where do I get it? Also i was thinking about painting all my sliver logos ie. Jeep, 3.7L, 4X4 all black. How exactly do I get them off and place them back on? A how to would be great!!

Thanks'

BRAD

There are how tos on how people have used plastidip to paint the emblems and also paint them
Niteshades by VHT for the tail lights, 2-3 light coats is enough to tint them but not too dark
again many posts on this as well
search is your friend

Plastidip is like a rubber spray paint so to say. I did my grill using it and after a few trips from Georgia to Florida and mudding it's still holding up. Best thing is you can peel it off.

^ You can't peel off spray paint, so no, not like plasti dip.

Plastidip at Hd or Lowes or most hardware stores. $4 can
VHT niteshades at most major autopart stores. $10 can
I would only do the badges with plasti dip. Look at youtube vids for instuctions, you don't need to remove the badges.
Nite shades, make sure you do nice wet coats with good flow. Not too light or it will orange peel, not too heavy or it will drip. Practice on a piece of glass.

O'reily is really clueless on that stuff go to home depot and I can guarantee that they will have it and it is a blue and you can with a black lid I did all of my emblems with it and the stuff is awesome. and as for application just go to youtube.com and type in something like how to plasti dip emblems and there should be a bunch of videos on how to. using plasti dip is so much easier than taking the emblems off and painting them.

here is the home depot link for plasti dip.
