What is the biggest tire I can go with on a stock lift? Searched around a lil and didn't see too much. Thanks in advance. |

Since we don't know what year you have, how many miles etc we have to assume 245-70-16s. Due to sagging springs etc you maybe able to run a little larger when first new but by the time you get 50-75,000 miles and some sag in the springs thats about it |

I just had some BFG Rugged Terrains installed in 235/75-16 on stock suspension and they fill the wheel wells pretty good. I couldn't imagine going any bigger without new springs in the front. I have 36000 miles on my 2010. Besides, on these tires, they were 30.00 cheaper than stock size for the exact same tire at Sears. So far I've been happy with them but today and tomorrow will be the test with 6 inches of new snow coming as I type this.

 I am running 225 75 16 on my 2005 and on steep hills get occasional rubbing.

I don't mean to thread jack, but would anyone know the largest tire size for 17" wheels without a lift? I read somewhere that 245/ 65/ 17s would fit, but then I read elsewhere that they wouldn't fit. Any help is appreciated because I need new rubbers ASAP! |

Goggle a tire calculator see the sizes. Then check and see what's the biggest size for your vehicle. Is yours a KJ or KK?. I'm thinking big either way. But I do stock size so I don't have shift/power issues. Others like bigger tires then have the expense of gear changes. |

Thanks for the quick reply! I drive a KK. I was thinking of going with stock size to avoid gearing issues, but larger tires would be nice when I do some mild off roading and looks more aggressive. I'll check out a tire calculator to see what is recommended. |

I live in MD and we get a fair amount of snow, so it would be nice to have all weather/ AT tires. I'm thinking about getting 245 65 17 Falken Rocky Mountain tires. Anyone know if these will fit on stock suspension for my KK with 78,xxx miles. |
