Hey folks! So one of my biggest complaints about my Skyslider equipped KK is the "roof-rail delete option." I love roof rails, and think the Jeep looks silly without them.

I know that we live in a "Make it idiot proof or that one consumer will sue us" society so I understand the mindset. It would only take one goofball putting crossbars over his skyslider and then attempting to open it while they were on there. Can you imagine the creaking, breaking sounds?

Anyways, I am considering all options for making my KK look better. I think it would look perfect with the chrome rails found on other KKs. However, they are apparently not for sale anywhere except as individual parts..

I came to a website that sells piece by piece, but it lists three different roof rail codes? Anyone know how to figure out which one is the chrome one?

This is how they are listed:
roof rail code (MWE) Right / roof rail code (MWE) Left
roof rail code (MW1) Right / roof rail code (MW1) Left
roof rail code (MWZ) Right / roof rail code (MWZ) Left

I am in no hurry to drop the amount of money that they are asking (would rather find a wrecked KK and snag them off for pennies on the dollar,) but it would still be helpful if anyone knew what mwe vs mw1 or mwz meant.

Go to a Jeep parts/ accessories web site. They use to come in pairs.
I have black (on my KK)that's I'd sell.
I just looked I couldn't find as an accessory.

MWE = Side Roof Rails
MW1 = Bright Side Roof Rails
MWZ = Rugged Side Roof Rails
If you go to a dealer they can print out your build sheet, which will have the code to match what you have OEM.
