I've lurked on here long enough to know what 90% of the responses to this thread based solely on this title are going to be. So let me start this post off by replying to all of the pretty much useless posts that are sure to follow this one. 1) Yes I know that you get what you pay for. 2) Yes I know the ride on a "budget lift" is going to be worse than if I had the money for a nice full lift with new springs, quality parts etc. 3) Yes I did a search. I found nothing, at least nothing recent. If you have a super duper rock star answer all questions about all things lift thread, great. Post a link. Yay. Thanks. 4) Yes I'm sure in a year I will regret it. I don't care. I have less than 3 weeks of duck season left. The 4X4 truck finally died. I need another 2-3 inches to get through the slough comfortably in my liberty. Period. I do not have more than $250. This is a non negotiable duck season saving purchase. I would like to only have to do this once though. (Yeah yeah yeah I'm dreaming. I know.) So is there anybody out there who has bought a lift kit for under $250 that got the job done? In other words as crappy as it will be, what is the best possible lift kit that I can buy with this money? |

Gave you an answer you more than likely didn't want to hear on JEEPFORUM. Daystar plus new rear shocks plus teraflex front bumpstops plus alignment........................... |

I'm a firm believer liking what you buy and if you make a bad choice own it. That said I've driven both and the spacer lift is very harsh. When I lift I'm going with an iron man or ome. Your money you decide where you want to put it. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk |

The Daystar worked fine for me. I didn't notice any ride change. It allowed me to clear 245's and got me through some good wheeling. All I had was the spacers everything else was stock. That said I had planned on upgrading later anyway. But liie I said they worked just fine.I imagine an OTT spacer would be easier since you wouldn't need a spring compresser like you do with the Daystar. |

OTT = start buying some extra UCAs so you'll have them ready |
