As most of you know, there aren't a whole lot of places to conveniently mount switches in the KK. I made this switch mount a while back for another member, and I've been approached by others asking for the same thing. The holes are cut for Carling V rocker switches with .83"x1.45" holes. These are a very popular switch and easy to get. They are the ones OTRATTW uses for their custom etched switches. http://www.otrattw.com/
I now have a reliable parts cutter with a cnc plasma cutter who is a member over on JF. If I would be able to have these cut out for me, I have to order them in large batches due to the thinner sheet metal that he has to buy special for me.
They would all have six slots cut out of them, but if you're not going to use all the slots thats not a problem. Carling makes a blank plug that covers the unused slots. Mounting would be either two small trim screws in the provided holes OR with double sided foam tape.
I don't have a price on them yet but they would be reasonable.

So, the big question is, how many of you would be interested in these?

Could you make it with less than six openings? Eventually I'll need something like that and only need three slots.

To bad the KJ 's aren't like that. Could use a round opening in the middle for a compressor gauge..

If I'm having them cut for me they all need to be the same, but there are blank plugs you can install on the unused slots.

If you don't mind shipping one to Australia then I'd be very interested in taking one Atthehelm!

Of course I don't mind shipping to Australia, can't imagine it be outragous because these are small and light.

If I had extra lights I would buy these in a heart beat. Great idea, Morgan.

What would the finish be? Would the purchaser need to paint, coat, etc. before final installation?

I have to admit it wasn't my idea.. I saw something similar a long time ago just can 't remember where.

Just bare steel. Something like this I wouldn't mind painting, but everyone wants something different when it comes to finishes. Shipping them bare would keep the cost way down too.

I think that's a better option than my current choice of the round rockers that came with my rigid lights. Count me in. Now I have to plug the hole by my shifter lol.

Well it's still your creative hand at work. Looks like you have a few happy future customers already. Still can't wait to finally buy something of yours. Who knows what it'll be. :grim:
