Took it back to the stealers, theres a fault on some module somewhere, I knew I wasnt being retarded like I usually am. Waiting for a new part to be delivered & it'll be replaced under warranty

Looking for advice from you guys: I've recently bought a Cherokee KK (2.8 CRD) which so far makes me grin every time I drive it, the only problem I've found so far is the memory seat / recall function not working. Is this a common fault? Regardless of what I press, in what ever order or duration, I cant get either the EVIC to confirm that a profile has been erased / set or the seat to move to positions 1 or 2 using the rocker switch. I know theres at least profile 2 set as the EVIC tells me the seat is moving to profile 2 when I use the appropriate key. I'm open to suggestions, even if its just how to gain access to the rear of the rocker switch to check the connections - I dont want to just start pulling at the trim incase I break a retaining clip. Thanks in advance! |

Are you in park while you try it? Its locked out while in gear. |
