What would be the best thing to do with my old suspension since it has been replaced with OME parts?
Stock components are just collecting dust in my closet.
Could I get a few bucks if I scrapped them, or should I save them for some sort of emergency?

I sold my springs for cheap, shocks collected dust for awhile before getting thrown out.

I always just gave them to the " good old boys" who came around looking for junk to get some whiskey. Made them really happy. Last month took 5 sets of coils /shocks to the junk yard. Didn't get that much but I did get enough for ...............................some shine  :-)r

Okay. Wanted to see if it would be stupid or not to try to scrap them. Anything more than $20 would be worth the trip. The yard is like 8 miles from my house.

Not sure how long you intend on keeping the KK.. but I'll say the only time I save components is when I know I'll need to revert back to stock to trade in.

Which is never since I keep my vehicles for as long as possible. But something to think about.

Mine are sitting under my bed. If my mom buys the Jeep off me, I promised her I'll put the stock suspension back in it, unless it goes to my sister who might want to keep the lift. Other wise I might drop it on trade if for that future Wrangler lmao

I keep my stuff, just in case I need it. If I had to sell, if something broke and I didn't have the funds for new. But I've never have.

Well I still have my front coilover shocks, and rear springs. My stock rear shocks are on my sister's KJ. :P

Like Tom I gifted mine to the follow who picks up scrap metal in his beat up F-150 on Saturdays. I had the suspension parts listed on here and on Craigslist for more than 6 months and not even any nibbles, so I decided it was time for them to go. I like having my hallway back now!

I am sure I will be keeping my KK long term and don't ever see myself wanting to go back to stock. Lifted is sooooo much better! :goink:

I vote the same as everyone else. I give them to the local guy who depends on the recycling yard for some cash.

Hmmm I know the fellow that lives a few houses away scraps, but I've never had the opportunity to talk to him before.
I do plan on keeping the KK forever, so I guess I don't need the parts anymore.
