Hey everyone, got a quick question for you all.

I was on the internet today and someone locally is selling a set of 5 Rubicon tires and stock rims for a few hundred dollars. 4 used tires and rims for $300 obo with 50% tread left and then the full size spare is new with no road use at all. ($150 for the spare) Now I wanted to do skid plates first as my spring upgrade but if this is a good deal I might want to jump on this. Now I know alloy rims are decently expensive but are the stock rubicon ones worth buying a set of 5 for that price? At the moment I am trying to figure out what tires are on them now but I plan on getting Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires since they should fit on those rims. Also I have 17 inch tires and stuff on my Liberty now.

Let me hear what you all suggest, and thank you.

If those are JK Rubi wheels you'll need an adapter to run those. We have 5x4.5 and the JK moab is 5x5

Seems like a good deal but the adapters will run around $200

TJ Rubicon Moab wheels will bolt up fine. That would be 2006 or earlier.

I am pretty sure they came off a 2011 so they have the 5x5. I think it might be better to not get them and just get ones that are 5x4.5. :( I thought I had found something good.

Quadratec sells an aftermarket version for quite a bit less. I'm wondering if it's the same quality and strength of the factory wheel?

OEM Moabs are forged very strong
aftermarkets are cast
