Just got back from the shop picking up my freshly modded KK. May need some tweaks but it's a big step in the right direction.

I'll post more pictures soon. I ran out of light tonight. I have no idea what it weighs. Maybe I can get close from the invoice. I know the steel was billed as a line item. The original plans had a wind deflector on the front to reduce wind noise from the rack and also from the skyslider. The shop said they would make tweaks, I think moving the light to the top bar (hanging down) and adding a clear plexiglass wind deflector are the first tweaks on the list. I honestly haven't driven it over about 50 since I picked it up. I did just go out in the dark to see what the light bar could do and my headlights are completely optional when it is on. More in a couple days. Matt |

It cost me $1800 with the material, labor and powder coating for the rack and the rock rails. Still need to tweak it some and get an air deflector up there! |

Looks awesome! You did a great job on it. What schedule did you use for the it? From the pix it looks like 1" schedule 40 but its obviously hard to tell from a pic. What's it lookin like in the "weight" department? I'm in the process of gathering the materials for mine and just figured you were the best person to ask since you have the only NICE looking Sky Slider compatible rack lol. |
