3 or 4 times a week when I get in or out of my KK my feet hit the hood latch under the dash and loosen up the hood. Does this happen to anyone else? I've considered everything from a little cage to cover the handle at my feet to Wrangler style hood latches on the sides of my hood. Thanks! Matt |

Not once. You must have some awkward feet. |

Weird! I do have big feet (and you know what they say about that!) But maybe it's the hood latch itself, maybe it's super easy to trip or sticking out funny. I'll take another look. Thanks guys! |

I've done it once in the three years I've owned my KK. I have no idea how I did it as the handle doesn't stick out that much... |

KKandKayaks wrote: OK, so how does one do this easy hood tightening? Thanks! Open up your hood. You will see a knob on the passenger side near the headlight, and same on the driver's side. Hand tighten clockwise a few turns. |
