Post subject:  question about oem ground strap

Guys, I found this dangling by the firewall, attached on top with one end
but not attached to anything at the other end.
Can anyone tell me where this thing is supposed to hook up to?
Appreciate the help :)

Thanks guys.
No change in the way she runs...still the same.
Bmxer, when u get the chance, K :D
Been researching that part number, and all it's saying is that it's a chysler/mopar ground strap. I have not found any diagram.
Now I know ground straps are usually attached to a chassis or the engine block...I just want to be sure.

Best I can do for you. It's down by the firewall...

Cool thanks, so it's attached to the engine block at the rear?

I think so. Not gonna lie, the engine was hot and I couldn't really see it. The phone ended up being my eyes.

Thanks Bmxer! I appreciate the help.
I think they forgot to put it on at the factory. (it was just hanging down)
The bolt that it goes into, is all the way in the back.
I cant even fit my hand in there. lol
Using a Fluke multi meter, I could tell the engine block is already grounded.
I think this might be an extra ground, as it doesn't seem to affect anything on the KK.
I'm still gonna try to attach it or find an alternate location in the engine block.

Bmxer beat me to it. I was gonna say it connects by the EGR valve area. If you can just install it somewhere else, the choices are endless.
