I am in the market of powder coating my rims and wanna see if anyone did it before....(not only KK rims)

Any info will be helpful.

I did a set on Mercedes amg wheels, came out great. the shop recommended I stayed away from glass and went with a semi gloss or matte

Great~! That's what my body shop said to me too.
They recommend me needpowdercoating.com

I did plastic dip for a while b4 I painted them...They do hold up pretty nice, but the color faded after a while. I know I can just respray them with new coat.

I was thinking about upgrading the rims but I really love the rim (Jet rims)...It's the reason why I got the jeep :rockon:

I've had very little color fade but I have noticed that the dip is beginning to wear through in spots just due to how long it's been on there. Once I get it back on the road I'll start respraying things and thickening up the dip again
