To start off I do not like to deal with a/c but know enough on what's going on with a/c.
It will only blow cold at the very start, but as the engine starts to heat up so does the a/c. Then it will only blow heat, not even outside temp, just straight heat. Compressor turns on, lines are cold and hot as should be. Actuators work, controls work, pulled a vacuum and recharged etc, blower motor is good, seems to all be good, and I can hear as the blend doors move ( I believe I can hear air flow change)
So is there something I am missing or a common problem? 08 Sport

It sounds like you've covered a lot of bases. I don't know of anything else to check, but I'm not really familiar with AC systems. I think I'd be headed to my mechanic about now (before the weather gets stifling hot!)

Well I work at a food dealership lol. Our main a/c guy is gone and I've done all I can think of. Once he gets back next week ill probably just pay to have him take a crack at it. I honestly don't use it but the wife likes it.

im not familiar with the heating system on these but back in the day on our old cars the hot water was shut off to the heater core by a vacuum valve and if it went bad it would heat instead of cool. sounds like your problem is not the ac but rather shutting heat off.

If I was to wager a guess it would be a blend door issue. Either not moving properly or not sealing.
When it starts to blow hot, try switching the temp control to heat, then back to cold. This may tell you if the blend door is leaking or getting out of whack.
It may be the link from the actuator, to the blend door. It may have popped off.
See this thread and the link in my post. This is about a mode door issue, but the actuators move the same.

Yeah that was mine lol. As far the blend doors I can hear the change in noise of air flow when I move it. I had the actuator off again and i can move the gears and hear that change as well. Unless it is out of whack somewhere else, but it makes sense what your saying that it may no be changing correctly.

You may just need it calibrated.

Is that something I can do or does it need to go to the dealership?

According to the service manual it is a dealer thing.
