Clear Side Markers / Reflectors MOD

I've seen a few people with this mod, but unforunately cannot get ahold of them atm:

The link shows a few pictures of the side marker apart with the clear reflector installed.

I was wondering if someone has actually taken apart their side markers to replace the orange reflector with the clear one and still had their light work.
Just curious to know how hard it is and if it's actually worth it. If not, I may just buy them for a reflector to get rid of the orange.

I think the person who separated the reflector used a sharp box cutter blade and cut the reflector apart then resealed with super glue.

There was a thread about it but I'm not sure if it was on here or jeepforum, also it's been a while since I saw it

I have a OEM clear set that I will sell if anyone wants them.

I would also like to add that the photos used in that eBay list were taken from a member on either lost or jeep forum and posted to sell the item. They did not have ownership of those pictures.

Just thought I'd let you know. There was a small uproar about it
