I assume you still need to remove the bumper to install these, right? I have a set of the tow hooks that I have yet to get around to installing because of that reason. They came with the m bolts but like you said I'd prefer not to use them. Just can't seem to find the time to remove the bumper. These look really nice by the way. |

The bumper is surprisingly easy. I started around 4 and finished around 8. I did it by myself and ate dinner and ran to autozone in between Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Can you lift the jeep with a highlift from the shackles |

silverkk wrote: Can you lift the jeep with a highlift from the shackles It would be ok strength wise, but no I wouldn't use them as a jacking point by inserting the hi-lift though a shackle. It wouldn't be very stable amd the bumper would interfere. |

It should be fine if you do it right and have that platform for the jack |

Could you put these on the rear mount points as well? I never got a rear hitch so the points are still open. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk |

Any idea if these are compatible with the KJ tow-hook mounts and bumper notch clearances (either 02-04 or 05-07 styles)? I've been "getting 'round to" making a recovery frame that mounts the same way for a while (years) now but might like to have something well made that works in the interim. Dan |

I've looked hard at pics of the 02-04 and 05-07 bumper openings, I'm 90% sure they will fit with the shackles without trimming any plastic. They will definitely bolt up to the unibody the same though. I'll shoot you a pm here in a sec, maybe we can work something out... |
