Still looks pretty level. Factory rake is 1" higher in the rear. The problem with the KK is that even when it is level, it still looks like it has a small rake(mine even does this and it sits at 21.5" on all 4 corners). It's just the body lines that throw it off. On the bright side it's nowhere near as bad as the WK Grand Cherokee rake/body lines.

A half inch isn't too bad. I'll just stick with the straight OME for now.

I just reviewed Scar0's install guide for my upcoming install this weekend. He touches on the rear bump stops but nothing for the front. My question is (since I haven't looked at them before), how the heck do you install them? I have the Teraflex front bump stops as well as the 4" rears. I understand I'll need to cut the 4" stops down to 2". Do I still need to drill a hole in the rear as outlined in Scar0's guide? Or was that only because he was using hockey pucks?

The front ones you pull off the old ones and push the new ones back on.

On the front I did not replace the OEM bump stops because the OEM were longer then the ones shipped with the lift. To install new ones you can make it easier if you use a little soapy water when installing.
On the Rear I drilled the hole because the new rear stops that came with the lift required a bolt to hold them in place.
This was a 2.5" lift.

Thanks guys. By looking at the new bump stops I thought they may just pop in but that didn't seem too secure to me. I assume I won't have to drill a hole in the mount where the new rears go?

If you add stops on the rear bottom, you will have to secure them. With my kit, it used the OME top stop and an additional rear bottom stop.

Clearly I wasn't paying attention to the fact that you had upper and lower bump stops. Are the extended bump stops I purchased intended to be for the upper or lower bump stops? I assume upper. Will I need anything for the lower?

Not sure exactly what stops you purchased. Usually on the front you get a longer upper. On the rear you usually add a lower and reuse the upper.

They are a little different then the ones I got, but they appear to go on the bottom.
"Designed to accept 3/8" dia. socket head bolt."
So your drilled hole size is a little different then mine was in the How-To.

Did a little updating to this. Might help to bump it too since there have been a few lift topics lately. Any chance a mod can make this a sticky?

I'll add a few more pics of the track bar and JKS discos when I get time this week.

I'll second that! 8)

Thanks for putting this thread together, Jimmy. I always refer people here when they have lift questions.

It was nothing really, Tony did the main outline, I just edited and added for KKs and new things we tried and learned. Your how-to list is even better than this.

Good evening everyone. I have a few questions, after reading all this info, and just want to make sure I have a grasp on it all. I will be purchasing the following lift from JBA.
OME 1.50" lift kit
JBA A-Arms
OME2927 Springs / 90009 Strut
OME2948 Springs / N132L Long Shocks
Strut spacer plate
TeraFlex bumpstops
Rear KK coil spring isolator ( 2 pieces )
From this list, and what I have read, I believe this will get around 3" of lift. So my other question is do I need the clevis spacer .375, to obtain a level lift?

Thanks in advance.

ALSO USE TWO HOCKEY PUCKS IN THE REAR PER SIDE FOR REAR BUMPSTOPS, BOLTED DOWN, WORK GREAT
