I have a 3 seater sea doo, I think the ski and trailer combined weigh about 1000-1200lbs. Should I engage the tow/haul switch on the KK when towing? What exactly does this button do? |

How far are you towing it and at what speeds will you be driving? That switch changes the shift patterns a little and doesn't allow you to reach overdrive. |

You probably won't even notice a difference with that little weight unless you're driving up some steep grades. I'd still use the tow function though. |

Jet skis can only be towed by h2's or h3t. Use it it locks out the overdrive which will help with lower transmission temps as the transmission will try to shift in and out of overdrive as it sees fit causing transmission temp to rise. |

just towed a 2008 ford escape v6 from fl to Texas total 1800 miles, the escape plus trailer and content inside was closed to 5000 pounds. the kk towed perfect I did 10mpg, average 65-70 mpg at 3000rpm with the tow button on 31" mud terrains. I was impressed. |
