Hey everyone,
I figured since I'm probably going to start having to replace a lot of parts on the jeep, I might as well make them upgrades before they become problems. I'll be using this thread as a place to put everything I'm doing.

History:
Purchased back in 2008 in Anchorage, AK. Build date is 1/18/2008. Drove it down to 1/4 of a tank and moved back to CT from college, threw it on a truck, and met it back home.

Here is how she's sitting right now
Image
Only cosmetic mods so far:
Blacked out headlights
Green LED Interior Dome lights
Satin Black Stock 16" Rims

There's only one place I know of to throw some actual mud here in CT. Those pictures will most likely always follow a new addition :) And once I lift and get some skids, I can reach one more place.

At each mod post, I'll also be posting the current mileage to keep a record.

I placed orders today (11-5-14) for:
AVS In-channel VV
Thrush Welded Muffler 17650

They're scheduled to arrive Friday (So in reality Monday) and I'll be getting the muffler welded in place at my buddy's shop. Anyone have a pro/con list for removing the resonator? I can't seem to find any clips that show the sound difference.

The resonator also came off. I added a tip right up behind the wheel. Very pleased with the sound

Video coming this afternoon. We finished at 850. Just in time for me to run next door and get myself a sammich at the deli :)

Changed front brake pads as they started to squeal. Noticed both the joints on my a arms need replacing so I will be ordering those as well as extended bumpstops. Also have something pretty nifty coming in the mail that you'll have to stay tuned for

Popped in a set of extended bumpstops for the front today. As well as received my ball joints.

Did anyone notice their bumpstops said KA on them?

Yes. There are a few parts that say KA on them. The KA was designed first.
