The bulbs in the cluster are soldered to a computer board.
If you decide you want to attempt to replace a bulb DIY, be VERY careful! The cluster does a lot of things other than just the gauges. It's computer board controls the radio, HVAC, lights, turns, and more.
Next to the PCM and TIPM, it is involved in the most things in the rig.
If you toast it, you will have to wait for a new/refurbished one to be shipped to a dealer, who is the only one who can replace it. Prior to it arriving at the dealer, the replacement has to be programed with your vehicle information and mileage. Once the dealer has it, then they have to do further programing after it is installed.
The whole process is a PIA. I had to have my cluster replaced because the dealer updated my HVAC controls and the old cluster did not recognize it. The process took 2 weeks.
