Used it all morning while driving. I even captured 2 modded KK's!
The dash cam I'm using is a Cobra 820.

Here's one video.

Fiddling with the settings, I'm going to upload a few more. I don't think it was recording in HD so I'll find out tomorrow after some driving. :pepper:

Video number two. I keep forgetting to set the HD setting. Hopefully I can figure it out next time I go out.

Finally figured out the HD setting.
Here's a video in HD. This is a 55mph road I drive on all the time.

That's pretty cool.
Even the bumpy roads are not that bad in the Vids.

The last video is the only HD one. The quality is much improved once I figured it out.
I didn't know FHD stood for Full High Definition. Not a fan of abbreviations.
I still need to get a night video.
Thanks for checking them out.

That's a pretty neat camera, Gage! Very nice quality picture, and I was surprised to hear it picks up sounds too. I can see how that would be great evidence should anyone ever cause an accident (hope it never happens!). It would also be great for documenting wheeling adventures. Heck, you could put together a "How To Hypermile Effectively in a KK" YouTube series. 8) I just saw another "my mileage sucks" thread show up on the forum today, so I bet it would be popular.

You got that right, Lauren. I figure this small amount of money that it costs can be great evidence shall I ever need it.
I just recently turned the microphone off since I know we all do not like the same music.
Drove around a bit last night so I could upload some night driving. Look for that post here tonight when I get off work in the afternoon.

Night time. The camera seems to be a bit sensitive to traffic lights. May need to make some adjustments since there are a few settings I can change.

The quality still looks really good! Now quit wasting gas just driving around

Thanks. Well I want to show some footage of different times of day. So far I'm extremely happy with it.
One of the coolest parts is that it's so easy to view your files. Just plug in the device and within seconds I can watch any part of my driving.
I think footage will look really cool when it snows and if I take it off road.

Fast forward to 1:45 to see Santa on a motorcycle with a police escort. 8)

Pulled over by a cool cop this morning.
He pulled me over for 54 in a 50. After the video ended he complimented my Jeep several times, and let me off with a warning. Got a little on video.

54 in a 50? Was he just that bored?

That's exactly what I was thinking lol. I thought most cops gave that 5mph buffer.

Lol I hear ya... I was barely over the speed limit. It's rare that I speed so good job to him, honestly.
After we small talked about lifts and my Jeep, I think he just liked it and wanted to find out more. He told he a few times the Jeep looked good blacked out and lifted and that he was looking for a lift for his Hummer. :SOMBRERO:
I gotta go back and look at the footage to see if he was hiding in that spot on my way to the bank. For some reason I'm missing the clip right before I got pulled over which would have showed where he was.

This Dodge Durango was texting the whole time. At the end I beep at him briefly because he hesitated at my turn and then he put on red and blues. May call the police station to see if this is a cop.

Edit: Called it in. They said they'd be able to run the plate, but aren't allowed to release the outcome to me.

Haha, I like how he decided to stop in the middle of the intersection haha.

Also, you are really good at timing the lights. I think you hit every single one hahaha.

Exactly, which is why I gave him a beep.
Thanks. I'm a hypermiler. :seuss:

It was definitely a cop. But if you watch it a few times like I did, you can see he has 2 screens. One looks like a bigger monitor like they normally have and the smaller one which does look like a phone, doesn't move. I think it's on a mount as well so I don't think he'd ever get in trouble.
