Hello. First, I apologize if this is a duplicate. I searched and couldn't find the specific problem. The power windows and mirrors on my 2010 Liberty stopped functioning randomly. No switch in any door lets the windows down so it's not just the driver side. Does anyone have any idea what a possible cause would be? I checked a few fuses and they all seemed to be fine. Thanks! |

Welcome to the forum warcormc! First thing to try is a Neg(-) battery disconnect for 10 minutes. This will reset the computers if there is just a glitch. All the window "power controls" go through the master window switch on the drivers door, then out to the other switches. So that is where I would start. Did anything get spilled on the master switch? Try opening the windows with the master switch while you move the driver's door open/closed to see if there is a loose/broken wire in between, or in the A-pillar area. Since it is also affecting your power mirrors, it is going to likely be the drivers switch or wires in that area. |

Excellent. Thanks for the help. I'll try the negative disconnect first. There's a very good likelihood something got on the switches. I'm way upstate in NY and there's constantly snow falling in from opening the door which probably melted and got into it. I'll post how it goes this PM. Thanks for the troubleshooting list. I appreciate it! |

check the m26 fuse if not already, a little red 10A. if disconnecting the battery doesn't work, pop open the door panels and make sure the wires are all connected. |

All, Thanks so much! I finally had a day > 20 degrees here and took the door panel off. Tried the battery and fuse a few days prior and didn't get any result. Sure enough, when i took the panel off the connector to the master switch was just hanging. It must have fallen out (Maybe from the cold? or a bump or something). Either way, clipped it back in and it works perfectly. Thanks all! |
