new guy here but not new to jeeps...

I Replaced my abs module today, had issues with abs, no speedo, esp, and service 4x4. speedo and abs issues fixed, but i used a recycled part out of a 2009 and am getting a vin mismatch code on my scanner. Is there a way to clear this without taking it to the stealership? They wanted 800 bucks to fix it, i ended up paying 60 for the part. Obviously i saved a good bit of ching.

any help would be awesome!!!!!!

If it knows the assigned vin for each module is incorrect, the only way I know to fix it is the stealership. One would believe it would be less than an hour of shop time to do.

Done with the stealership!!!! Never ever again, they tried to milk me for 2600 for brakes that I don't need, heater blend housing, and an abs module that I used a part from the junkyard 65 bucks, no check engine light just shows up on my scanner as vin doesn't match or some bs.
i could care less if the vine don't match as long as my heap works.

No cel? Heck I wouldn't even worry about it as long as it's working like it should.

Lock up the tires and abs works, right? Speedo, etc work? Then you're fine lol

Sorry, but that is a bit scary.....

If the dealer you used wasn't any help, contact another... tell them all you need is a used module paired... they should be able to quote you straight up...

All that stuff should really be working and fixed... donuts are fun until they happen in front of a family in a van... hopefully not mine....

The traction control issue was an alignment issue its all good.
I hate that esp crap it's very hilly here and killing the engine when my wheels spin sucks. It's all a matter of opinion though.
