I assume that for the strut assembly for my OME lift I reuse the strut top plate, correct? Meaning there's no way to assemble them ahead of time while still driving my Jeep? But if I did I could purchase the Moog strut mounts?

Yes you have to use the strut top plate. Some have bought new plates before to do theirs , make sure you also buy the lower isolator as well if you go that route

I was just looking at some photos and saw a lower isolator that I hadn't seen referenced before. Do the stock ones usually hold up well? Meaning, I probably don't need to buy new ones just in case mine are shot?

I was just referencing the fact that you were thinking about buying upper strut plates to assemble before you tore it down when I mentioned the lowers

Thanks guys. I may just wait to assemble them until we're actually doing the install. Spending the extra money on new strut plates and spring isolators doesn't make sense at the moment.

On second thought, if I can get some strut plates for a decent price then I may look into getting them assembled ahead of time. I assume these isolators from JBA are what I'd need. I believe I already bought at least 1 pair of these so I'd need another pair per the JBA website, right?

And I could spring for these for the front? http://jeepinbyal.com/liberty-2008-2012 ... -side.html

If you preassemble ahead of time, make sure you have the washer that goes on top of the strut mount. Otherwise the shock nut will pull through the bushing.

Ok, thanks. Does this look like the washer you're referencing in this kit?
