So I am down to deciding between these three tires all in the 245-75 16, if anyone besides just saying the norm for everyone else uses them opinion. 1. Duratrac 2. BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 3. Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Plus Radial |

Duratracs, 84,000 on mine and still throwing snow balls enough said ![]() But really, a lot depends on where you live, where you drive, what you plan on doing with the KK etc The BFGs are suppose to be better than the old ones ( of course thats not saying much) but too new to really comment on Helps when you put where you live so you can get netter answers |

Haven't ran the others, but the duratracs handled everything I threw at them with no problems. They can dig quick in sand if you aren't careful. And they will hum on the highway. I've heard the BFGs are quieter and don't dig as quick in sand, but I know they just rolled out the new generation. Not sure how they perform and it might still be too early to tell. |

Sorry about that, in Kansas City area, I really drive in all weather conditions, currently not much off road but would like to find places. I do drive alot for my job, bought it in August at 85000, currently sitting at 125000, but that's mostly highway driving, making about 6 trips a year as well to Colorado, So far this ski season only 2. |

If you plan to take it off the beaten trail more so than you do now, the Duratracs are great. Otherwise if you're going to be on the road a bit more, I'd probably consider something a little different like Hercules Terra Trac AT II's, Bridgestone Dueler AT, Hancook DynaPro AT or in that category. My Hercules in in 235 flavor were phenomenal offroad, in the snow (driving from KS to SD a couple times during the crappy season), and the road noise/mpg hit wasn't noticeable. I'm trying to find off-road places to use it more that way, but if I wanted to go to an at tire I would definitely go back to the next radian at2 that I had on my wk. I could go almost anywhere in those And were good on life mileage. |

It's a halfway between an AT and a MT. |

awesome thank you, that's most likely what I will end up with wanting more of the aggressive tread look, many of the at's are not aggressive look for me |

When I started running them there wasn't any one that had them ( local Goodyear tire salesman didn't even know they were out yet) But was always getting stopped to see what they were . Front view no not a KK but you get the idea ![]() ![]() ![]() |
