Post subject:  Wanting to level ride height

I would like my Jeep to have a level ride height. As of right now I do not want to do an OME lift (In the future I will be). Most of my driving is on the street and once in a while going off road on a two track. It is a 2010 Sport w/stock wheels-245/70r16 General Grabber AT2 and with 55K on the odometer. I have been researching for awhile on LOST and Jeepin by Al on how to go about leveling the ride height of my Libby and would like some second opinons or advice etc.. Right now ride height is as followed: LF 17 1/2" - RF 17 5/8" - LR 19" - RR 18 1/2" measured from center of hub to fender and with a 1/4 tank of fuel. If I go with a 3/8" clevis lift up front and JBA 1/4" top plates that would net me 1 1/4" on the front and the measurement for the front would be 18 3/4" bringing the front almost level with the rear correct? As for the rear, if I go with a upper spring isolator on the right side that would bring the measurement to 19" so it would be level on both sides in the rear. My questions are would I need to change the bumpsstops on the front? If so, would the Terraflex ones Jeeping by Al offers work? Also, would I need to change the shocks up front? If I do need to change the shocks I would change the rears as well, any recommendations on shocks? Sorry that I was long winded but I want to make sure that it is done correctly. Thank you in advance.

If you are at that height then your springs and shocks are done for, worn out, even with doing a clevis and top plate you're just getting back to about stocck height. Main thing ride and handling has to be bad, no you may not feel it but its bad trust me. Not only from years of building 4 WDs and upgrading suspensions but I also went to school for suspension/ brakes/alignments etc back in the 70s.
Just doing a clevis will get you somewhat back to stock height but I'd really suggest you go ahead and replace your suspension ( springs and shocks) now

Thanks Tommudd for the reply. I will scratch that plan and purchase the OME lift. I will also do the clevis lift for the level ride height.
