I happened to notice there are two part numbers for the spare tire winch, 52125243AF and 52125473AC. 243AF is listed as [-TBC] Without Compact Spare Tire and 473AC is listed as [TBC] With Compact Spare Tire. I want to see what the difference is to see if it is worth it to swap out.

I'm not too sure of the difference between the two, but if it is determined that there is a significant difference, I would be happy to sell you mine for cheap.

I had the small donut spare when I bought my KK, and have been storing a full sizer under there for quite a while now without issue. Maybe the other winch is heavier duty?

Don't bother. The tire winch for the donut spare works perfectly fine for a full sizer. I have a full sized spare under mine, and once I cranked it up nice and tight I had no issues. (Initially I didn't quite crank it all the way up and I kept hearing this thumping noise coming from the back end. *facepalm* )
