I'll take a picture of the bumper tomorrow in daylight. The dark marks is wet paint. I already have plans for the rear. I just don't have time this week to complete the tasks.

Sweet AtTheHelm bumper! Are the welded-in receiver hitch and the ATH cutout custom touches requested by you, or is that how ATH is making them these days?

The cutout letters and non recessed center were both requested changes.. The integrated receiver is one of the normal options

In the past week, here's what was completed:
Topped rear diff off
Installed rear backup lights
Off roaded at Rausch
Saved a water boarded 3.8l
Was forced to remove door side skirt trim
Installed trailer harness (4 pin)

Issues still present:
Saggy rear
Possibly shot ball joints
Cabin monitor (TV) is still shorting out the battery banks
Rear short arm "brackets" were slightly damaged at Rausch. Won't be an issue till upgraded arms
Yet to verify front diff level

Issues to be fixed within the month:
Rear springs. (NAMoulton1)
Ball joints
Monitor isolation from battery banks

Also, washed the kk today, seems to be an issue with jeep owners leaving their doors open when washing...

front diff level was acceptable, no leaks but added some oil.

front rattling was solved, didn't think a loose bolt on the sway bar end link would have made that much noise...

set back a little further for the rear springs. haven't bought the shocks yet...

got a promotion today, so that makes jeep parts easier to buy :pepper:

also, for those that may need to replace jba uca ball joints, total install time from start to finish wasn't even an hour.

I have too, only about 25k on them too.

Btw, be happy your ball joints were easy to replace. Mine didn't take too long, but I snapped every bolt on the passenger side...

rear springs are really shot now... bump stops are about an inch from touching the axle (spacer plate).

im going to order shocks this weekend and should have time next week for install.

im half way to having a full lift... not where its needed, but rear (believe it or not) is worse then the front. shocks haven't blown a seal yet but the rear is sooo sloppy when driving down the road over 45 mph.

I'd honestly just save installing the shocks until you get new springs. That way you aren't overworking new shocks.

Cut 1/4" off the bumper where it touches the resonator, it still rattles though it's cleared... When I drive to work tomorrow I'll listen if it still rattles. As bad as it was.

I cut it using my solar pannel fed inverter. Performed flawlessly.

Still on hold with the shocks... Marlin is out this week so I'll have to wait... Buying from him is faster then buying from Amazon shockingly.

If bought from amazon I'd get the bilstien 5100 series; something like 4565 model. 15" collapsed, 25" (i believe) extended.

Do you think it's the bumper or resonator that is rattling?

it's both. The bumper frame was to low there for was touching the resonator.

I have no plans of removing the resonator too. I like a fart can free jeep. Though I'm on the edge with removing the muffler and scooting the resonator in it's place.

in the process of buying a few engine parts. nothing is broken, just improving upon. should have some of the parts in hand this week to mock up. but wont be able to be installed after a few certain maintenance items are addressed.

in the mean time, i fixed my media server in the jeep... i isolated the monitor from the system.

painted the body under the doors where the plastic trim used to be.

did a front tire alignment and tire rotation. ill do a 4 tire alignment once the rear springs are installed. debating on buying a JBA or Ricky's track bar this year.

found out why it reeks in the jeep too... half my d30 bottle fel over in the side bin in the back and soaked the sound deadning mat... ill stick with the stench till it gets warmer. that includes ripping out all of the rear... not excited :5SHOTS:

also cut more off the bumper closest to the resonator. the resonator clears the bumper by more then a 1/4" and still vibrates. i can not take off any more. so im at the point of moving the resonator down stream and "upgrading" the exhaust. i want to keep the resonator for silence due to the muffler i plan on getting. i need as much back pressure as possible, knowing the resonator doesnt really offer much back pressure... but its something.

sooo, you know me... always busy... I should have time to pick up shocks this week... I have 2 assignments due Monday night, 5 tests Tuesday, an essay due Thursday and i just finished up 6 assignments due today... on top of a full time job... ill be lucky if the rear gets done this week... :dead: inspection is this month. hope engine isn't running too rich. I definitely wont disconnect the battery till after inspection! wish me luck I guess.
